رپورٹ کے مطابق 5 مئی کو اغوا ہونے والے حسین علی کا چچا نماز کی ادائیگی کے لیے سیکٹر 16-A میں واقع فاروق اعظم مسجد گیا تھا جہاں اسے بھیک مانگتے بچے کو دیکھا، جو حیرت انگیز طور پر اغوا شدہ حسین علی نکلا۔مشتبہ اغوا کار کی شناخت شہریار ولد مشتاق حسین کے نام سے ہوئی ہے۔ شہریار نے پولیس کو بتایا کہ حسین علی اسے اس کے سسر سلطان نے دیا تھا۔ پولیس نے شہریار کو تھانہ شاہ لطیف ٹائون منتقل کر کے تفتیش شروع کر دی ہے۔پولیس نے بچے کو بازیاب کرا کر اس کے والدین کے حوالے کر دیا ہے اور اغوا کے پس منظر اور دیگر ممکنہ ملوث افراد کی بھی چھان بین کر رہی ہے۔ حکام نے کہا کہ معاملے کی باریک بینی سے تفتیش جاری ہے۔
